Aaron Rodgers Rookie Card is a hot commodity
If there is one rookie card of the last decade that would be a good one to invest in it would be the 2005 one of former University of California quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers had a very good career for the Golden Bears and would be picked as the number 24th pick of the Green Bay Packers. The Packers got Rodgers as the future of their franchise to take over for Brett Favre. Rodgers would hang on for two seasons as an understudy to Favre and for the last three has been the signal caller and taken the Pack to the playoffs
The reason that the Aaron Rogers rookie card is in so much demand is that Rogers so far in his early career has pretty much played like his predecessor in Favre. Rogers has been very durable and in some cases has been a better ball protector than Brett was in his early days. Another thing is that Rogers has had pretty much the same offensive players that Favre had in his final days with the Packers. The bottom line is that Rogers’ selection by the Packers in the first round back in ’05 has paid off huge dividends for the Green Bay faithful.
Another reason that the Aaron Rogers rookie card is in so much demand is that he should be in the league for a long time to come. From all indications of his performance this early in his playing career, Aaron Rogers can easily play for another 10 to 12 years. Another good thing is that Green Bay fans have started to follow and adore Rogers pretty much like they did with Favre. The QB slot is well respected in Green Bay and Aaron Rogers is well on his way to making his name one of the more respected ones.
The bottom line is that the Aaron Rogers rookie card is a good find and a card to hold on to because he should go down as one of the top QB’s in the history of the Green Bay Packers.
