Three reasons why you should come to la Nucia
La Nucia is a small town which is situated in the province of Alicante, on the costa blanca just outside the city of Benidorm. Whilst Benidorm is one of those cities that thrive on attracting young crowd, or a geriatric crowd in terms of its residents, la Nucia although it is trying to capture some of the tourist market, still has that small town mentality which is perfect for a completely relaxing vacation. There are many different reasons why you should come la Nucia and I want to just spell out three of them.
The first reason that you should visit this town is for the fantastic natural peace and quiet that you will experience once you get here. It is said that the first inhabitants to ever settle in this area did so because of the ready supply of water and the arable land that was everywhere. But I think there is more to it than that. Even though this town has a fairly sizeable population nowadays, the peace and quiet is still very palpable. You notice this when you walk through the beautiful park on a hot summer’s day and you see families who are peacefully shading themselves underneath the trees, avoiding the hottest part of the day.
The second reason that you should visit La Nucia is that all the noise and mass tourist entertainment is only a short hop away. This means that you can take a short drive towards Alicante or Benidorm and here you will find streets filled with people, busy shops and restaurants, beaches that are packed to capacity, and excellent entertainment to your hearts content. And once you have finished with all this cluster and bustle you can turn right back around and head back towards the peace and quiet of your little holiday town.
The third and final reason you should visit this town is because of the built in entertainment value that is available here. Not only are there many modern shops, cafes, bars, etc, there is also a 600 seater indoor auditorium where there are often plays and musical concerts. And if that doesn’t take your fancy, how about just crossing the road where you will find an outdoor auditorium that has a capacity for 3000 people. When you come here for your vacation once, you not only will not want to leave, but you will come back again and again.
